When Giampiero Buratti founded Gima in 1968, he had its mission very clear: to pursue excellence in mechanical manufacturing with passion and determination.

In fact, Gima immediately established itself as a reference point in the production of mechanical components for electronic equipment, a field in which it is still appreciated today for the precision of its workmanship and compliance with requirements. This policy has always guided Gima in acquiring the most advanced technologies, the most efficient processes, and the skills necessary to honour, for each Customer, the ambitious intuition of its founder.

Over the years, the company mission has evolved by focusing its core business on the integration of increasingly complex electromechanical products.

For this purpose, Corel was founded in 1992, a group company specialized in the production of electronic boards and equipment, capable of operating in synergy with Gima or providing solutions in complete autonomy. To complete the service, in the same period, a Joint Venture began with ELECTRIC LINE, a historic company specialized in the production of electrical and industrial wiring for any type of application, computer and IT cables, and electrical panels.

Even today, Gima maintains the same vision and does not accept compromises on the values that make it an excellence in its sector.

Gima covers today a total area of 6,000 sq. m., including a covered area of 2,400 sq. m., and a warehouse of 700 sq. m. It produces all the mechanical components in the main factory in Fara Gera d’Adda and the electronic boards in the Corel factory in Rivolta D’Adda, while a third factory is dedicated to assembly and warehouse.

Overall, 50 production machines allow the realization of any particular, thanks to the professionalism of the staff.
